My journey with craps began months before I ever stepped up to a live table.

I discovered Bluff and other craps creators, and they introduced me to a game that immediately captured my attention. For the next two months, I immersed myself in it. I watched everything I could find, studied the bets and table procedures, explored different strategies, and prepared myself for the opportunity to finally play the game in Las Vegas.

That trip would be filled with firsts. It was my first time visiting Las Vegas, my first time playing craps in a casino, and my first time competing in the World Series of Poker.

The preparation paid off. I won approximately $6,000 at the craps tables, and in my WSOP event, I finished within the top four percent of a field of nearly 25,000 entries.

I returned home energized by the entire experience and excited to share the journey. As I continued studying craps, I also began recognizing gaps in the educational content available to players. There was room for more detailed explanations, more opportunities to see ideas demonstrated, and more content that helped people learn without removing the fun and personality that make craps so exciting.

That realization became the foundation of KC Craps. I found someone to build my first craps table, giving me a place to practice, test ideas, demonstrate bets, and create the kind of educational content I had been searching for.

KC Craps grew from that first table, that first Vegas experience, and the desire to make craps education both useful and entertaining. What began as my personal journey has developed into a community where players can learn, exchange ideas, follow real experiences, and enjoy everything that happens around the rail.

Eventually, the journey even brought a piece of Las Vegas home when a table from Vegas became part of KC Craps.

I’m still learning, experimenting, asking questions, testing strategies, traveling, and collecting stories from the game. KC Craps has never been about pretending that one person has every answer. It is about exploring the game together, thinking through our decisions, and having a good time doing it.
